Původně se věnoval hudbě a studoval klavír na prestižní univerzitě v Německu, ale po setkání s křesťany v Kalifornii zasvětil život Ježíši. Dnes spojuje svou vášeň pro média s poselstvím evangelia ze Zjevení 14. Se svou manželkou Nhes žije v San Diegu.

Vzdal se kariéry lékaře a po pěti letech pastorační služby v Austrálii odpověděl s rodinou na Boží povolání a přestěhoval se do Finska. S manželkou Alise a dětmi, Levim a Lydií, žijí poblíž Mikkeli.
